One Stitch Facelift

What is it and how can it help?

This involves placing threads under the skin. The threads contain tiny anchors that latch onto the skin and create a lift. The threads then dissolve over the coming months stimulating collagen and further tightening the skin. Threads provide a good lift to the middle face and jowls.

We offer 2 types of threads – Silhouette Soft & Elionce.

Silhouette Soft

Silhouette Soft contains bidirectional cones. 4 threads are placed on each side of the face and 1 thread on each side of the neck. This produces a full face and neck lift.

What are the benefits of a threadlift?

Threads can be used to give a non surgical facelift. Usually 4-6 threads are used on each side of the face to pull back the nose to mouth folds, lift the cheeks and pull up the jowls. Some result is instant with the best result visible over 3 months post treatment. There is no surgery involved so it can be done in 30 minutes. It can be combined with fillers for an even better result.

What are the side effects of a threadlift?

Redness, bruising and swelling is to be expected. There will be some dimpling of the skin which can take 2-4 weeks to settle. Compared to a surgical facelift this is pretty minor. Sometime one side may lift better than the other. This can be corrected by placing an additional threads or dermal fillers.

What is the downtime with a threadlift?

It can take up to 4 weeks for the any dimpling to settle. However, most people do not take any time off work as the side effects are mostly minor.

How long do the results of a threadlift last?

Around 1 year.

How much does a threadlift cost?

Elionce Heart Full Face Lift (4 + 4 Threads) – £1000

Elionce Heart Neck Lift (4 + 4 Threads) – £1000

Elionce Heart Full Face and Jaw Lift (6 + 6 Threads) – £1,350

Silhouette Soft Full Face & Neck Lift (5 + 5 Threads) – £1,950

Threadlift vs. Dermal Fillers

Threads have greater lifting potential that dermal fillers. They can tighten the skin by stimulating collage but cannot add volume. Fillers mainly add volume, strengthen the skin and create subtle lift. We often combine threads and fillers for superior results.

"I would highly recommend Doctor Q"

I used to go to this other place to get Botox done because it was cheap. But the last time my eyelid drooped. I called the practitioner but she kept ignoring me and was very rude. I went to Doctor Q. He explained that side effects can happen but there are ways to reduce the risk. He gave me some eye drops which helped by eyelid droop and after a month it resolved completely. I now get Botox at Luxe Skin. I would highly recommend Doctor Q.
